I have gentoo installed in /dev/hda5 of 5.8 GB, Kdiskfree and konqueror say i have 685 mB of free space,īut the sum of occupied space i can find is under 3.5 GB, when i use konquerors file size view it does add up to around 5 GB used space but it is counting /proc/kcore with almost 1GB.īy all i have read /proc/kcore should not be ocupying any space, in fact if i boot to suse which is on another partition /proc/kore in the hda5 partition is not there, the freee disk space is reported to be 685 MB, but total used space shows at less than 3.5 GB Where is my missing GB?
